Job Description

We are current recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our Swindon based client.  In this role you will be working closely with with other employees in all areas of the business to support advertising, market research, production collateral, sales assets etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • the development and oversight of the company’s marketing campaigns and websites
  • promotion of products and services
  • internal and external communication
  • creative, analytical, digital, commercial and administrative responsibilities.

Job Purpose:

Will oversee the marketing activities of the company throughout the entire lifespan of a product, service or idea. You are responsible for the effective management and timely delivery of marketing collateral to support the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • – managing the company’s marketing budget and liaising with agency partners to ensure best value
  • – overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
  • – conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences and competitors
  • – devising and presenting ideas and strategies to increase company sales and revenue
  • – investigating alternative promotional activities to optimise exposure of business activity
  • – compiling and distributing financial and statistical information to support management and business cases
  • – writing, collecting and proofreading creative copy, content and articles
  • – maintaining websites
  • – SEO
  • – structure and content
  • – looking at data analytics
  • – organising events and product exhibitions
  • – updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • – monitoring performance and creating ROI on all social media via Google analytics etc.
  • – managing campaigns on social media
  • – digital and online marketing
  • – be fully aware of all courses, product and services
  • – maintain the internal training plan to show accurate information and ensure this is kept up-to-date with current offer
  • – work with the Ops Manager to plan the training for at least 6 months ahead and create marketing to support the training offer
  • – support with the Product Development Plan to respond to market demand and update Training Plan accordingly
  • – receiving and recording leads from internal sources and monitor the conversion rate
  • – generating leads through focused sales campaigns (telesales/cross selling/upselling) as guided by the Content Calendar
  • – following up leads with telephone calls and or meetings with potential clients
  • – Attending networking meetings to build relationships and expand market share


  • – Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)


  • – A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
