As a general guide recruitment consultants will be involved in:
Interviewing: Meeting job seekers, collating and assessing their skills and abilities and providing advice.
Telesales: Regular contact with local businesses.
Matching: Providing clients with the right person for the right job in the right time scale.
Client visits: Regularly visiting new and existing local client businesses.
Remuneration comprises a basic salary coupled with a generous bonus commission which can either be based on a team or individual performance. General guidelines are:
| Trainees | £12,000 - £14,000 |
| Consultants | £15,000 - £18,000 plus commission (OTE £20,000 - £28,000) |
| Managers | £20,000 - £30,000 plus commission (OTE £30,000 - £45,000) |
